Instagram is lots of fun, and it’s the best way to see new items coming to the shop often before they are listed. And a little behind-the-scenes action, and pictures of Bruno the chihuahua and Pizza the cat.

We’re getting excited for next weekend’s <a href=”http://www.thecityflea.com”>City Flea</a> in historic Over-The-Rhine in Cincinnati.  Casey is working on a sign for our booth.  It’s gonna be a fun time, and hopefully we’ll make some freakin’ sales!

We found this sweet vintage ammo box from the Vietnam era and turned it into a rolling foot locker. Or you know, gun storage solution.  It says “AMMO FOR CANNON WITH EXPLOSIVE PROJECTILES”  on top and some other cool military shit on the sides.

Pretty sweet.  Look for it in the shop!

I’ve been working on lots of new stuff for the shop lately. We’ll be introducing furniture and lighting made from all kinds of things we find.  Here’s a preview of a hanging light I’m making out of a vintage meat hook. It was supposedly used in a pork facility.  Probably true. Cincinnati is big on pork.

Almost done. That’s basically what it will look like. It has a 20 foot long vintage-style rayon covered cord with a switch and plugs into the wall.  No need for hard wiring.  Also doubles as a torture or murder weapon.

And yes, that’s our real shopping list on the chalk board.

Like that chalk board? We’ll be making more of those in the future too.
